My movie from India

First of all – happy new year folks!  It’s been a while since I updated my site – but I’ve been busy enjoying myself in Argentina and Chile. I will come back to my latest adventures in the next update.

So – I finally finished editing my videotakes from India. I had quite a lot of material and I realised in the editing process that I have no experience as a reporter or as a video-reporter. I wish I was as good as my good friend Martin in NRK! My takes are long, boring and travelling solo it is somewhat difficult to make it engaging and interesting (especially if you have not done that before). I have therefor tried to angle the film as brief snapshot of how I saw India – and as you can see, I have been very good filming when I have been on the move…..

In the completion process of the movie I encountered a series of problem that basically made it very difficult for me to upload a full HD version of the film. The version online is good enough. I really wanted to have this film published now, so that you could see my shots and I can move my focus onto writing about South America. Hopefully I’ll manage to work around technology issues at a later stage, so that at least I’ll have a decent copy at home.

It is about 20 minutes, and if you are only interested in The Great Indian Wedding - then that part starts about halfway through (at 10min). Enjoy!
